    The Challenge

    UrbanGate Parking operated private, closed, and open parking zones across shopping centers and residential complexes, but their workflow was fragmented across manual processes and disconnected tools. This created major operational bottlenecks:

    • Long queues at entry/exit ramps during peak hours
    • Frequent ticket loss and expensive manual dispute handling
    • Inconsistent pricing rules between locations and vehicle categories
    • Limited visibility into live occupancy and free-space availability
    • No unified way to support prepaid, postpaid, and occasional users in one system
    • Slow incident response when a terminal or barrier malfunctioned

    We built a full-stack parking operations platform centered around modern on-site kiosks and a cloud control panel, designed for high-throughput access and reliable day-to-day operations.

    • Multi-Mode Vehicle Identification: ANPR camera integration with fallback identification via RFID cards and UHF tags for private and subscription users
    • Ticketed + Ticketless Flows: Unified entry/exit logic supporting printed tickets where required and registration-only mode for fully ticketless sites
    • Kiosk Payment Experience: Interactive payment terminal interface with multilingual support, clear visual/audio guidance, and contactless/card payment processing
    • Flexible Tariff Engine: Configurable pricing by zone, vehicle type, time window, and duration (hour/day/period), including prepaid and postpaid plans
    • Live Occupancy & Notifications: Real-time parking status tracking with automated notifications via SMS, email, and push events for operators and users
    • Mobile & Web Companion Apps: End-user app for account management, plate management, ticket payment, and QR-based ramp opening when plate recognition fails
    • Operator Dashboard & Reporting: Centralized monitoring with daily/periodic reports, remote terminal diagnostics, and role-based access control for support teams

    The rollout included phased onboarding across all facilities, terminal health monitoring, and analytics dashboards to help operations teams optimize peak-hour flow.
